I had a conversation just now about my lack of updating....so I present my latest attempt at drawing for myself. I dig the linework, I hope my audience does too....

The first and only comic that has almost made me throw up from the sheer gore of it, is the Preludes and Nocturnes collection of The Sandman series. I didn't know what to expect but it is something I will never forget.
And so, I look forward to consuming as much literature on Dream and the Endless as possible.
I have a strange habit of drawing Neil Gaiman's the Endless characters late at night. The characters are really fun to draw.
I first met her when I started collecting The Books of Magic series, written by Neil Gaiman. I think that was a great mysterious introduction to a later favorite character.
Still feeling things out for this character. I decided if I don't post this now, I never will! Here's some expression practice with this character to see how I like the reduced cheek-look, as well as some shading practice which indeed ended up looking like practice. Gotta keep on truckin' ...
And introducing one of the few characters who has a name... Ira!

The Powerpuff Girls / Craig McCracken's Sedusa was basically the inspiration for this series...based on children's cartoons ~
So here's a quick sketchbook post just to demonstrate a little tiny bit of something I'm working on. Here is the main character (long haired-what's-her-face) and a little Taino-peoples-inspired boy. I hope there isn't any problem for posting them in their natural almost naked selves but I did what I could with the flash-card-censor-bar-cut-out.
